15th Annual Fundraiser Raises $18,300 for Hope Clinic

Last month, we held our annual fundraising drive to benefit Hope Clinic, a local nonprofit dedicated to providing "whole person" care to under- and uninsured community members. Our connection to Hope runs deep, as the organization was founded by our Vice President & Chief Product Manager Dan Heffernan’s father, Dr. Daniel Heffernan. Seeing the challenges many individuals and families faced trying to obtain adequate healthcare without insurance, Dr. Heffernan opened a clinic providing free medical care 43 years ago. Since then, Hope Clinic has expanded to two facilities, both committed to providing free, integrated “whole person” care. This is an innovative approach, since most healthcare providers in the U.S. focus on specific aspects of health. Instead of separating issues and treating them individually, Hope Clinic staffs a wide variety of professionals (most of whom are volunteers, not employees of Hope Clinic) and offers a multitude of services to meet the needs of our community. This includes:

  • Social service referrals & resource coordination
  • Medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare
  • Spiritual support
  • A food pantry and farmstand containing local produce
  • Hot meals served six evenings per week
  • A diaper pantry
  • Laundromat

We’re thrilled to announce that our drive raised $18,300 in support of Hope Clinic’s mission. Thank you to our employees, and also to everyone at Hope Clinic for their incredible efforts. It’s an honor and a privilege to support your work!
